Oak Capital appoints Craig Mowll to its Board in a key strategic move
Oak Capital has appointed Craig Mowll as Non-Executive Director of both the Oak Capital Mortgage Fund Limited & Oak Capital Wholesale Fund Pty Ltd. Craig will not only sit on the Board for Oak but provide ongoing strategic advice to the firm as Oak continues to grow in its position as a market leader in the alternate non-banking space.
Bringing over 25 years’ experience in Financial Services, Craig has been able to provide a strong focus on business transformation, strategic direction, growth, innovation, change management, and leadership.
With extensive leadership experience in a broad range of sectors, including Banking, Funds Management, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Strata Management, Property Development, Commercial Lending, Agri Lending, Online Trading, Margin Lending, HNW Advisory, Trustee Services, and Custodial Services, Craig has a proven record for delivering strategic success and building businesses. His previous work as CEO of TPT Wealth Limited and Group Executive at MyState Limited, led a Trustee Services, Wealth, and Asset Manager with $2B in assets.
He also previously served as CEO of Certitude Global Investments, an ASX listed company, managing $10B in global assets, as well as having been Managing Director at Credit Suisse, working some of the most prominent family offices globally, and managing a $34B portfolio. Preceding that, Craig was GM of three divisions in St. George Bank, responsible for the management of $20B in assets.
In each role, Craig led the transformation of these businesses, including national re-brands, operational reform, and significant growth, either organic or through M&A.
Currently Craig serves as CEO of Strata Choice – a leading Strata Management firm in Australia, along with his roles on numerous high profile company Boards.
